Jody practises in the areas of equity, trusts and succession law.

She advises regularly in relation to family provision claims, lost and informal will applications, the interpretation and administration of wills and trusts, solemn form probate proceedings, claims of breach of duty against personal representatives, attorneys, and trustees, applications by personal representatives and trustees for judicial advice and directions, the removal of personal representatives, and guardianship and administration in respect to adults who lack capacity.

Jody regularly appears in mediations in succession law matters.

Before coming to the Bar, Jody worked as an Associate at McInnes Wilson Lawyers in estate litigation and spent 10 years working in various trust management roles at Perpetual Trustee Company Limited.

Jody is a past Deputy Chair and Secretary of STEP Queensland.
